'Morganville' Launches October 31 2014, 0 Comments
A new digital series launched this week called 'Morganville" that is based on the best-selling young adult book series "The Morganville Vampires"...
This is no typical "web series" though - this show stars Amber Benson from Buffy The Vampire Slayer fame and Robert Picardo from Star Trek: Voyager. It has excellent production value (shot on the Blackmagic Cinema Camera), great performances and a good story too (something lots of filmmakers often forget about, right?).
There are six Season 1 episodes currently playing exclusively on Felicia Day's Geek & Sundry YouTube channel (watch the playlist above), but according to the filmmakes look for a DVD and VOD release in the near future as well.
Oh, and some of our footage just might appear in the show, too. :)

We like the SmallHD monitors and actually have a DP7-Pro LCD and really like it... now, we like it even more.
The latest firmware adds live color grading on set (and you can save the Look), in addition to pass-through live viewing of LUTs that are applied on the monitor (in other words, the look passes through to another monitor, such as a client monitor).
Check out their video below...
Like we said, pretty cool. :)
If you have one of these monitors, download the new firmware here.
