Shooting & Compositing Background Driving Plates November 13 2015

Check out this very informative and fun "how to" from VideoCopilot's own, Andrew Kramer. It's a great introduction to shooting and then compositing green screen driving shots using background driving plates.

We especially like how he discusses using "soft keys" to keep the window reflections and thus making the shots feel much more realistic. All using Keylight in After Effects.

We offer a nice selection of affordable background driving plates in our 2nd Unit™ PLATES collection. Browse and shop for them here to use in your next project.
